Tourist In Your Own Town - Middleton

Today we went to Middleton Plantation and happened to meet up with some friends;
Marti, Julie, Mary Chris and her son Nick.

We all had a great time walking around, (or running if you were one of the boys) chatting and taking in God's beautiful creation. We met a real cooper (a barrel maker) and he explained the art of barrel making to us. I believe the adults were into it more than the kids. Here are some pictures of our day, enjoy!

Saw some monkeys in the trees, oh wait those are the boys.

As Julie said as we walked past the live oaks that are hundreds of years old "If only these trees could talk."

Here are some of the animals we saw...

Cooper playing with rotting sugar cane

Tradd always finds a stick, no matter where we go.

Monkey see monkey do - of course Cooper has to have a stick too.

Here's what Drayton thought of the whole thing...

Where the Kinney's show up next, to be continued - Tourist in your own town...
