One year ago today Coleman had her surgery to repair the AV Canal Defect in her heart. Today we are celebrating that God not only healed Coleman but has continued to make her heart strong. And the peace that Meghan and I experienced during that time can not be explained, except that we know it came from all the prayers from our family and friends.
Today we are taking some treats down to the hospital to say thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff that took such good care of Coleman and us. On Saturday we are having a Praise God Party! We are "building" an altar to remember what God did for us last year, through His healing and His peace. In Genesis 12:7 we read that Abram built an altar, the first of several that were built at places where he had memorable spiritual experiences. We will have stones for folks to write on (a scripture, comment about Coleman, prayer or praise, etc.) or they can just simply place a stone as part of the altar remembering what God did, May 30, 2007. They can also take a stone with them to remind them of something God has done, or is doing in their lives.
We just want to have a time of praising God for his many blessings upon us especially for Coleman's healing. If you can not join us for the party - please take a moment and say Thank you to God today for all He has done for you!

Oh I have tears and goose bumps! Our God is so faithful and so good, All the time! We can not wait to join you all to celebrate all that the Lord has done!
Wish we could all be there to celebrate with you. What an experience it was to be there during her surgery. I, too, felt the prayers as they passed among us during that time. There was so much peace knowing God was in control. Please place a stone at the altar for us with our names and praises to God for all he has done. We will certainly be thanking him here as we have this past year for everything. God is so Good!
Love, Praises and Prayers,
Mom & Dad (Nana & Poppy)
These are the times I wished you guys lived closer. I wish we could be there, but since we can't you will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Coleman is such a blessing and a gift from God. Please add a stone to the alter for us and thanking God for giving us Coleman and a successful surgery and keeping her healthy. God is Good, All the time!!! Much Love to ALL,
Aunt Karen, Uncle Chris, Brandon and Nicole
We miss and Love all of you. Give the kids hugs and kisses.
Praise God for those doctors and nurses who took such good care of her, for all of her friends and family that have surrounded and covered her with prayer, and for the God of miracles.

I love this celebration idea....I so wish we could be there.
My rock for the altar is in the mail!
Love to all!
Thank you for putting that picture up. I am so scared with Hunter's surgery. They keep saying that it's a common procedure anymore, but it's not a common procedure for my child. I can't wait to see you guys when you come up. Lots of love.
